In 2020, Boroughbridge Churches produced The Longest Night, an online service for people who would like to share in the Christmas story but who did not feel they could cross the threshold and come to any of our services in church. Although not specifically Covid-related, on this longest night of 2021, our video – with its overriding sense of quiet reassurance and hope – appears to be just as relevant.
If, having watched The Longest Night, you feel you would like to speak to someone, please feel free to contact us or send a private message on Boroughbridge Churches Facebook page.
If you are unable to come to services this December, you might like to watch this video of Dunsforth’s carol service last Sunday evening as a way of joining in with us – we hope it will help you to get into festive spirits!
You will find no better Christmas present than our 2022 Our Glorious Parish Calendar (which is an A4 spiral booklet calendar opening to A3) for £10.
Furthermore, you will find no better Christmas Cards than our Christmas Cards which come in a pack of 5 (and are 150mm square cards with envelopes) for £4 for 5 cards or £10 for 15 cards.
For more information, or to purchase, please send a message, or contact the Dunsforth Churchwardens.
Many thanks to all of those who supported the Christmas Tree Festival on 4th-5th December by visiting, voting, or entering trees. We had 273 visitors across the weekend. Happy Christmas to you all!
